Titled “Moscow Summer: Experiences from the Moscow-Texas Connections Program 2016,” Jones’ presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Room 004 of the Academic Building. The event is open free to the public.

A 2014 ASU graduate, Jones is working on her master’s degree in biology and is a member of the ASU Russian Language program. She was one of only 24 students from Texas universities selected for the 2016 Moscow-Texas Connections Program, which included two months of study in Moscow this summer through the Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Program.

To fund her study abroad experience, Jones received a scholarship coordinated by the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (CREES), which is a component of the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Austin.

Jones’ presentation is sponsored by the ASU Department of English and Modern Languages and the ASU Russian Club.
