The Hunt for Heroes memorial service will air on Suddenlink cable Channel 17, the City of San Angelo’s government access channel, at 2:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. daily through Dec. 5.

About 200 people attended the service at Santa Fe Park on Wednesday, Nov. 21, to honor the four Hunt for Heroes participants killed when a train collided with their parade float in Midland on Nov. 15. The victims were wounded military service members who were to spend the following weekend hunting in the San Angelo area.

The victims were: U.S. Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer 3 Gary Stouffer, 37; Army Sgt. Maj. Lawrence Boivin, 47; Army Sgt. Joshua Michael, 34; and Army Sgt. Maj. William L. Lubbers, 43.

The Rev. Bill Proctor of First Presbyterian Church delivered the message at the service.
