Tim McGraw Will Represent Country Music in 2019 Super Bowl Pre-Game Show
Tim McGraw will be representing country music at Super Bowl LIII on Sunday (Feb. 3). The country star will perform during pre-game festivities.
McGraw is the headliner for the 2019 NFL Tailgate Party, which will take place in Atlanta, Ga., and be broadcast live during CBS' pre-game show, The Super Bowl Today. McGraw will be performing his new single, "Thought About You;" the song is from a forthcoming new album.
In addition to McGraw, the NFL Tailgate Party will feature a performance from Aloe Blacc and Atlanta's David Walker and High Praise. Also during pre-Super Bowl festivities, the Zac Brown Band and Martina McBride will be performing; McBride is playing at the NFL's Party With a Purpose, while ZBB will host a free concert on Thursday (Jan. 31).
The New England Patriots are facing the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII, which will take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Gladys Knight will be singing the National Anthem, while the halftime show will be headlined by Maroon 5, Travis Scott and Big Boi. The game will air on CBS, with kickoff scheduled for 6:30PM ET.
