Thomas Rhett just announced his 2019 tour plans. The CMA Male Vocalist of the Year nominee will go coast to coast, making nearly 40 stops on the Very Hot Summer Tour next spring, summer and fall.

His father, Rhett Akins, will join him on all dates, and Dustin Lynch and Russell Dickerson will join him for all but the first two dates in Washington. The tour begins in Spokane on May 17 and includes most weekends in June and July before a concentrated effort in August and September.

The first batch of tickets go on sale Nov. 30.

The newly-announced dates are not Rhett's only dates in 2019. He's scheduled to play CMC Rocks in Australia in March and has a slate of dates across Canada throughout April and early May. He also has a handful of festival dates scheduled between stops on this tour.

Rhett will spend the remainder of 2018 off the road, although he told Taste of Country last week that he's hard at work on his next studio album.
