Orion Jean is a 9-year old 5th grader in Fort Worth who has started a project aimed at delivering 100,000 meals and positive messages to those in need by Thanksgiving.

The project is called, Race to Kindness and not only does every bag delivered have a meal, it also comes with a special note of kindness.

According to the Race to Kindness website:

We will be partnering with Tango Tab to help collect and distribute meals to people in need. We could use your support in dropping off your prepared meals or setting up your own 'food drop-off' event. We also welcome donations to help us purchase food/supplies for the meals.

Orion is no stranger to doing great things for his community. Back in September he won a national kindness speech contest and used the money won to donate over 600 toys to a Dallas hospital.

Looking at the state of the world right now, maybe instead of looking to our generation on how to treat others, we should be learning from children like Orion.
