The former 'American Idol' champion will have an especially patriotic Fourth of July celebration this year, as he'll have the opportunity to perform along with Barry Manilow and other special guests on the National Mall for the annual a Capitol Fourth concert, which draws hundred of thousands of visitors each year.

This year's 4th of July is going to be a booming celebration! Tim McGraw will partner up with Mariah Carey to headline the 2013 Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. The fireworks are sure to be a big crowd-pleaser, but it never hurts to throw in a couple of A-list artists to ensure that the event is a success.

Here’s a fact that should shock absolutely no one. A survey conducted by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission indicates that most fireworks-related injuries take place during or around the Fourth of July holiday festivities.
