
Santa Rita & Hobo Day at the Railway Museum
This Saturday from 10 until 5 is the Santa Rita Oil & Hobo Day at the San Angelo Railway Museum!
Learn while you have fun at the Railway Museum! You'll see 2 of Texas Pacifico's new engines and engineers will be on hand to answer your questions.
See displays of Santa Rita #1, Texon, and more from the Hickman Museum in Big Lake.
See a new display of hobo living and hobo art.
Hobo stew, campfire coffee, and a special hobo desert from Fiddle Fire Chuck Wagon will be available from 11 until 2.
Enjoy live music from Shady Grove, Cindy Jordan, Marvin Kelsey & the St. Mark's Guitar Circle, and Dorothy Douthit.
Starting at 11am, try your luck at the International Washer Pitching Contests. There are 2 divisions,
ages 6-11 and 12 & up.
The Hobo Costume Contest starts at 1:30 with 2 divisions; Adult (12 & up) and youth (1-11).
Museum admission is $4.00 for ages 12 & up, $2.00 for ages 5-11, under 5 is free.
