The immunization clinic on the last week in April at the San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department will be conducted this Monday, April 29.

The weekly clinics are held each Tuesday, but nurses will be participating in a professional conference on Tuesday, April 30. All clinics preceding and following the last week in April will continue to be on Tuesdays.

The immunization clinic is open to walk-ins (no appointments) from 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Health Department, 2030 Pulliam St., Suite 9.

Those seeking vaccines must present updated shot records at the time of the visit; there are no exceptions to this requirement.
The cost per child per visit is $14.85 for one shot and $15 for more than one shot. For adults, the cost is $14.85 per shot.

To receive a state-funded vaccine, patients must meet Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) eligibility requirements. For children, those are: no health insurance for the child or health insurance does not cover vaccines; eligible for Medicaid; or of American Indian or Alaskan Native descent. The eligibility requirement for adults is that they have no health insurance.

Tuberculosis testing is also offered at the Tuesday immunization clinics at a cost of $20.
