SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Skeletal remains found in a Central Texas field have been identified as those of a 50-year-old woman who went missing in April from her San Antonio-area home.
Atascosa County Sheriff David Soward tells the San Antonio Express-News (http://bit.ly/1cUUQbP ) that the death of Deborah Jean Williams is being investigated as a homicide.

Soward says Williams lived in southern Bexar County with her boyfriend and walked away after a fight with him on April 27.

Soward says Atascosa County property owners found Williams' remains on Nov. 24 on fenced-in pasture land in a rural community called Verdi, located about 30 miles south of San Antonio.

He says investigators confirmed the identity through Williams' dental records and forensic analysis.

Soward says the property owners were not acquainted with Williams.
