‘Old Town Road’ Soundtracks New ‘Rambo: Last Blood’ Trailer [WATCH]

"Old Town Road" gets a bit of a remix, once again, for the Rambo trailer. The song, with some added instrumentation, punctuates big-action shots from the film, which stars Sylvester Stallone.

The song's spot in the Rambo: Last Blood preview fits right in with the trajectory of "Old Town Road," which is spending its eighth consecutive week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart after becoming a viral hit via the TikTok app. After the song was booted from the Hot Country Songs chart after its No. 19 debut there in mid-March, Cyrus jumped on the first remixed version of Lil Nas X's original track.

Producer and DJ Diplo has also released a remix of Cyrus and Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" remix. On May 17, the pair dropped a cameo-packed music video for the track as well.

The fifth film in the Rambo franchise, Rambo: Last Blood follows 2008's Rambo and, in addition to Stallone, stars Adriana Barraza, Paz Vega and more. Stallone co-wrote the script with Matt Cirulnick, and Adrian Grunberg is directing the movie, which is due out on Sept. 20.
