New Mural Contest Inspires San Angelo Artists to Say ‘Don’t Mess With Texas’
Aspiring artists can showcase their desire to beautify their community and keep Texas litter-free in the first-ever "Don’t mess with Texas" Mural Contest.
"Don’t mess with Texas" and the City of San Angelo are partnering to host the contest, which is open to people of all ages and abilities residing in the San Angelo area.
"We are excited that San Angelo has been selected as one of only three locations for the Don’t Mess with Texas permanent mural," said Convention & Visitors Bureau Vice President Diann Bayes. "Our diverse artwork across town will soon have a new addition, sharing the great message from our friends at Don’t Mess with Texas. We encourage local muralists to submit their concepts for consideration.”
