The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

West Texans have long recognized the need to conserve our resources; we are a people who live close to our environment—Eco Fair is a celebration of our local environment and economy. During Eco Fair visitors can learn about SAMFA’s water education program, Aqua Squad, see recycled artwork created by Santa Rita Elementary 5th graders, and explore other environmentally conscious groups in San Angelo. The Nature Center will be here exhibiting animals and the ASU Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society will also be here doing an activity.

Eco Fair is also a chance to explore one of San Angelo’s most valuable resources: the Concho River. Join students from Ft. Concho Elementary to help clean up litter along the Concho River from 10 am to 2pm.
