Miranda Lambert explores life in a small town in the way she does best in her new video for "We Should Be Friends," and comes out looking great at the end.

The clip opens with the tired-looking singer showing up at the local beauty salon, carrying her little dog and seeming as if she needs help with a lot more than just the way she looks.

She draws some stares from some of the older local women as she takes her spot in the chair, but as the video progresses, Lambert charms everyone in the place as she is slowly transformed from bedraggled to bedazzling.

The video includes many humorous and charming touches, including one salon customer who is getting her hair done with a unique set of beer can rollers. Lambert's spa day escalates into a full-blown party by the end of the clip, and even her adorable pooch gets in on the act, getting a wash and blow dry while waiting for his mom to finish in the chair.

"We Should Be Friends" is the second single from Lambert's current project, The Weight of These Wings, which is a double album that finds her exploring the singer-songwriter side of her music. The album's first single, "Vice," reached No. 2 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart and earned Lambert Grammy nominations for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song.

Lambert is currently out on the road on her Highway Vagabond Tour in support of The Weight of These Wings.
