Micky & The Motorcars are ready to bring the party as always when they take the stage at The House of FiFi Dubois this Friday, September 16th!

If you go back thirty years or or more, this band was destined to be great with all of the musical talent the Brawn brothers grew up with. They were raised in a very music rich environment including their dad who also enjoyed success with his own band!

If you didn't know it, there are four Brawn brothers that started two incredible bands years ago. First, Big brothers Cody and Willy Brawn who started Reckless Kelly and not long after the younger two Brawn brothers Micky and Gary formed the band Micky and the Motorcars and moved to Austin! Both bands have been going strong for around two decades now and both bands have released numerous successful albums and singles.

We play a lot of music by both bands on Kickin' Country 103-1. Since it's Micky & the Motorcars playing FiFi's this Friday, let me mention some of their songs that we play by them including: "Tonight We Ride", "Bloodshot", "Road To You", "Sister Lost Soul", "Long Enough To Leave", their latest single "Stranger Tonight" and many more.

Micky And The Motorcars are on tour constantly with their unique and diverse sound. Gary handles guitar, mandolin, harmonica, harmonies, and occasionally lead vocals and Micky, lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist, are joined in the Motorcars by Joe Fladger on bass, Bobby Paugh on drums and percussion, and new bandmate Pablo Trujillo on guitar.

Don't miss Micky & the Motorcars this Fri, Sept 16th at the House of FiFi DuBois at 123 S Chadbourne, downtown.
