Downtown Eden will be the site of an Independence Day celebration and salute to the military on July 3rd.

Live in Eden is an officially sanctioned charity event with all proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project. Wounded Warrior is a charity involved with helping wounded service members return to their homeland and assists them with issues that are plaguing our heroes (i.e. medical treatment, housing, education, etc.).

The event was commissioned by Blake Leggett, President and CEO of Leggett Tactical Solutions, LLC . This young, service disabled veteran has served in multiple capacities with the Department of Defense both as uniformed service-member and civilian to include 4 tours in Afghanistan in the last 2 years.  Mr. Leggett feels there is a need in the community to give back to those who have sacrificed so much both mentally and physically, and thus was the spark that brought forward “Live in Eden”.

The evening begins at 5:00 pm and will last to Midnight.  Entertainment includes Texas Country Artist,  Jason Boland and the Stragglers as well as the Aaron Kothmann Band.

Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the gate.  Food venders will be set up and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and coolers but no glass bottles.
