The Blind Auditions are done for Season 29 of NBC's The Voice & each team have at least ONE singer representing the state of Texas. Here's who's representing the Lone Star State and which coach picked them for their team.

Kendra Remedios (Arlington)

The first Texas singer to appear on Season 29 was 31 year old country singer Kendra Remedios from Arlington, TX in episode 2. Kendra performed her version of “Girl Crush” by Little Big Town. She had a solo chair turn from John Legend, but even judge Kelly Clarkson said that “shed love to see a Texas girl shine”. It's funny that Kelly would say that...

Blaire Elbert (Lubbock)

The same episode saw 28 year old Blaire Elbert from Lubbock, Texas. Blaire would blow away Kelly Clarkson with her yodeling while singing “Wide Rollin’ Plains” by Rosalie Allen  so much that she had to turn her chair Round. Blaire would be the 2nd contestant to represent Texas in the new season of The Voice.

Aziz Guerra (El Paso)

The last episode of the Blind Auditions would feature 20 year old Aziz Guerra from El Paso, Texas. Aziz impressed Coach Adams Levine with his singing of “El Triste” by Jose Jose. Aziz became the first contestant from El Paso since 2020 to appear on The Voice (you can see the others here).

Grace Humphries (Austin)

Our final Texas contestant is Austin’s Grace Humphries. The 18 year old would impress Coach John Legend with her rendition of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides, Now”. Grace would be the 4th contestant to represent the state of Texas and would make it 4 for 4 of passing the Blind Auditions.

We shall wait and see to see if any one of them becomes the next winner on The Voice! After all, we've seen several Texas singers do it before...
