We all know that Jerry Jones is a fan of country music just by all the acts he has had play at ATT Stadium over the years. He invited George Strait and Reba to open the stadium and be the first show ever played there. Speaking of George Strait, George held his final "Cowboy Rides Away" show at ATT Stadium.

Jerry Jones is no stranger to the ACM Awards. Back in 2015, the 50th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were held at ATT Stadium. That show actually broke and now holds a Guinness Book World Record. With a record 70,252 people in attendance, it set the record for the highest-attended award show to be broadcast.

This year the ACM Awards are returning to the Metroplex, not at ATT Stadium but at The Star in Frisco. The actual awards show is Thursday, May 11th. It will be broadcast on Amazon Prime, just like last year. But before the big show, the ACM and The Star are hosting a two-day FREE music festival to get you geared up for the big event.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, May 9th and 10th, you can enjoy music from Dylan Scott, McKenzie Porter, Caitlyn Smith, Nate Smith, Chapel Heart, Chase Beckham, and many more.

This event is free and open to the public! Gates open at 3 pm daily! You can enjoy live music, a food truck, a beer garden, and more. There will be an exclusive Dolly Parton merch booth.

Keep an eye out because you never know who might see walking around.

The 54th Annual ACM's will be live from The Star Thursday, May 11th and you will be able to watch exclusively on Amazon Prime.
