DK Stores Introduce Pizzitos

If you frequent DK stores around the Permian Basin, you may have noticed they are refreshing their stores. Not only are they updating the look of their stores but also their food game. If you haven't already you will start to see a new hot food menu item at your favorite DK store.

DK Stores are introducing their new Pizzito. DK has taken two fan favorites, pizza and burritos, and combined them into the Pizzito! Think of a calzone, take some of your favorite things wrap them in pizza crust, and fry them like a burrito. The creator behind the Pizzito hales from Chicago and believes the best pizza comes from Chicago. So the Pizzito was built around Chicago-style pizza crust and then filled with some of your favorite things.

Pizzitos are currently only available at four DK stores in the basin but by the middle of June you will be able to try one at any local DK store. Plus, for a limited time only you will be able to try them for half off.

The Pizzitos come in several different varieties:

• Buffalo Chicken
• Pepperoni
• Brisket
• Savory Sausage
• Chorizo and peppers

They also offer a breakfast option as well with three different combos to choose from:

• Bacon, egg, and cheese
• Sausage, egg, and cheese
• Chorizo, egg, and cheese
