
Allstate Puts The State Of Texas At Number One For Safe Driving
We've all seen driving in Texas that has been less than stellar. But not all drivers are like that in Texas right? Well, looks like data has arrived to put that statement to the test.
What Is Driving Like In Texas?
Speed limits seem like a suggestion in the state sometimes don't they? We've all seen somebody go flying by us and they don't get pulled over. We've also seen a person not use a blinker, which is really annoying isn't it?
Data for accidents in the state also exists, which you can see here. So an accident can happen at any time here in the Lone Star State, and it is scary when it happens. But, it truly that bad driving in Texas?

How Is Texas Ranked For Driving Overall?
To find out the answer, data has been revealed by Allstate. here are the factors used to determine how well all 50 states were ranked:
- Average Years Between Collisions
- Relative Collision Likelihood (to National Avg.)
In addition to that, changes over a ten year period were provided to show which towns improved or went down on the list. So the moment of truth has arrived. Where was Texas ranked?
Well, in a surprise turn of events, Texas was placed as the number one state in the nation for safe driving. The state had 23 cities make the list, with four making the top 20!
So that's great news for the state right? Well, now we have to keep the ranking high. So keep those hands at ten and two Texas!
