The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts is bringing you a very special evening of music as they present "Comfort & Joy" a Christmas Jazz Concert at the Museum on Friday, December 16th at 6 pm.

Get ready for a wonderful Christmas music experience featuring Tom Braxton and Andrea Wallace.

Tom Braxton is a celebrated saxophonist and composer. Because of his distinctive sound, which incorporates elements of Jazz, Latin, Funk, and R&B, Tom was inducted into the West Texas Walk of Fame back in 2017. His music tends to  leave listeners spellbound and filled with a sense of joy.

Tom Braxton performs all over the United States and internationally at numerous events including: the Algarve Smooth Jazz Festival in Portugal, the Smooth Jazz Europe Festival in the Netherlands, the Stanbic Jazz Festival in Ghana,  and the Nile Gold Jazz Safari in Uganda.

He has also shared the stage with numerous great artists including: Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross, Bob James, Brian Culbertson, Candy Dulfer, Warren Hill, Jonathan Butler, Peter White, Jeff Golub, and Norman Brown.

Singer, songwriter, and vocal instructor Andrea Wallace also has a unique style with her music as she blends classical, jazz, gospel, and R&B music to create her own unique, distinct style.

Wallace was a member of the Grammy Award-winning group that featured 16 Grammy Awards winner, Kirk Franklin, one of the best urban gospel singers of all time. Andrea has also performed with numerous other legends such as Stevie Wonder, Donald Lawrence, Tamela Mann, and many more.
