Aaron Watson Headlines Boots & Badges Ball Benefiting First Responders
Put on your boots, dust off your nicest threads and get ready for a night of country music, cold drinks and supporting the people who spend their days...and sometimes nights...taking care of the rest of us.

The 2026 Boots & Badges Ball is coming back on Saturday, September 19th, and this year's lineup gives Lubbock-area folks plenty of reasons to show up.
Aaron Watson Is Headlining the Party

The big name for this year's event is none other than Texas country favorite Aaron Watson.
Watson will headline the evening at Madewell Estates, with The Clay Gibson Band getting things started as the special opening act.

Doors open at 6 p.m., giving everybody plenty of time to get settled in, grab a drink and prepare for a night that combines live music with a pretty important mission.
And yes, there will be an open bar.
Because apparently supporting first responders pairs nicely with a little country music and a cold beer...or whiskey...in your hand.
It's All About the First Responders
The Boots & Badges Ball isn't just another night out with a band.
The event is designed to honor and support the men and women who serve the community every day, including police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel and other first responders.
Proceeds from the event help provide resources and support directly benefiting these local heroes.
Organizers say the evening is about bringing the community together to show appreciation for the people who answer the call when everyone else is hoping they don't have to.
That's a pretty good reason to put on your Tony Lamas.
Country Music, Silent Auction and a Little Competition
Along with Aaron Watson and The Clay Gibson Band, guests can enjoy an open bar and silent auction throughout the evening.
And there's a dress code suggestion that should be right in the wheelhouse around here: western or formal attire.
Tickets, tables and sponsorship opportunities are available now.

It's a night of music and fun, but more importantly, it's a chance for Lubbock to say thank you to the people who are there when we need them most.
