Roller Coasters That Deliver Big Thrills

Six Flags Over Texas has 15 world-class roller coasters for those who want to get their adrenaline pumping. AQUAMAN: Power Wave, New Texas Giant, Titan, Shock Wave, and The Runaway Mine Train are among the best in the park. Soon, the park will add its 16th coaster with Tormenta Rampaging Run. This new giga dive coaster will break more than six world records when it opens later in 2026.

Family Attractions Everyone Can Enjoy

If heart-pounding and adrenaline-rushing roller coasters aren't your speed, try the Six Flags Railroad, JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for METROPOLIS, Oil Derrick, or Pirates of Speelunker Cave.

With school being out, now is a great time to head over to Arlington for some spring break fun at Six Flags Over Texas. Mix 93-1 is giving you three chances to win tickets: weekdays around 11:20 with Andi Ahne, and again around 3:20 with Lucky Larry, and finally by interacting with the contest entry points below.

New Shows and Entertainment in 2026

Six Flags Over Texas has more new shows and entertainment planned during the 65th season. Many of those shows will take place in the newly renovated Southern Palace Theater that will feature theater-style seating.

Special Events Returning to the Park

In addition to Spring Break Celebration, watch for the return of Fright Fest and Holiday In The Park, along with many other special events happening throughout this monumental year for Six Flags Over Texas.

15 Defunct Six Flags Over Texas Rides That Have Been Removed But Not Forgotten

These rides once stood proud and brought joy and terror, in some cases, to those who rode them at Six Flags Over Texas. These rides no longer exist at Six Flags Over Texas. Yes, The New Texas Giant is there, but The Texas Giant went through a complete remodel and redesign and received an upgraded steel track and has a new configuration, and is no longer like the OG, The Texas Giant.
