So, it is with great pleasure that I share the news of the latest big Lotto Texas win. According to a press release, someone scored an estimated annuitized $26.75 million in the drawing held on August 10.

The Winning Lotto Texas Numbers

The winning Quick Pick ticket matched all six of the numbers drawn: 15-16-25-28-38-53. The lucky player bought the ticket at Murphy USA 5695, located at 1803 N. Velasco St., in Angleton. Since the winner chose to go with the cash value option, the claimant will receive $14,303,717.61 before the tax man gets his cut. 

However, the Texas Lottery isn’t going to set that money aside until someone gets around to claiming it.
