Shane Gillis Caught Not Drinking Bud Light During Texas Soccer Game

Last night during a MLS game, Shane Gillis and Matthew McConaughey were put on the national broadcast. Looks like Shane might have forgotten about his Bud Light sponsorship.

Last night Dallas FC was taking on Austin FC. The game was being broadcast on Apple TV and the crew decided to cut to a box with a very famous Austin resident. Matthew McConaughey was taking in the game and was sitting next to stand up comedian Shane Gillis. However, once the broadcast went to Shane, suddenly a Bud Light appears out of nowehre.

Shane clearly has his hand on that right arm rest and in my opinion that's his cup holder, which I am assuming is his can of Dos Equis. Looks like someone in Shane's box quickly noticed they were on the national broadcast and was like 'QUICK get him a Bud Light'. Shane grabs the beer and then looks down at the can of Dos Equis and has no desire to touch that while on TV.

Dos Equis even responded to the video with 'You know where to find us'. Shane is currently being paid over one million dollars to endorse Bud Light and has been a spokesperson for them since 2024. I doubt this costs him this partnership, but Shane as long as they're paying you, drink the Bud light.

It's clear they had Bud Light in the box, but I guess Shane couldn't resist the Dos Equis.
