Wild Video: Man Clings to Car Hood in Mesquite, Texas

A video shows pure chaos in Mesquite, Texas, this morning (September 19). I kid you not when I say it’s like a scene out of a movie. 

When I first watched the video below, I wasn’t quite sure what was going on – until the 5-second mark. At that point, it was crystal clear that a guy was holding on to the hood of a car as it sped down the road. 

The main question in my mind, and I would assume yours as well, is why in the world is he doing that? It could be that he caught someone in the act of stealing his car and was willing to risk his life to get it back. Of course, it could be a fit of rage, and he couldn’t just let the other person drive away.

However, as you can see at the end of the clip, at some point, he either voluntarily got off the hood of the car or was thrown from it. Hopefully, he’s okay, because you and I both know there’s a good chance it ended badly for him. 

Whatever the case may be, the video serves as more proof that life in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is getting crazier by the minute.
