The Weekend Buzz – Take A Peak At Our 2023 Texas Cyber Booze Vault
In 2023, we were fortunate enough to partner up with our buddies over at Ben E. Keith Beverages to launch The Weekend Buzz where we sampled a plethora of beers, spirits, and seltzers from the best breweries on the planet. Here's a look back at those brews with our 2023 Booze Vault.
If you're not familiar with the show, basically it's just an excuse for us to hang out with our friends, sample some adult beverages, give you our thoughts on them, and let you know what's buzzin' in Abilene. Tune in on the radio or our free app.
When we launched The Weekend Buzz in January 2023, I had no idea that I would learn so much about the craft beer world. I just knew I liked to drink beer so when the idea came about, I was all in.
After a year of tasting so many different types of beer, I concluded that I was not enjoying my beer like I should. I wasn't tasting the beer but rather just shoving beer down my throat because it was beer.
That changed as I started to learn how the beer was made, what went into making the beer, and what my taste buds should be looking for when I sampled the beer or spirit. The result was a much more appreciation for the art of making these different brews and it also opened my eyes to new tastes and experiences.
As you'll see in the gallery below, we not only sampled different IPAs, Ales, and porters but also seltzers and spirits from breweries.
We would like to take this time to thank the musicians, business owners, and all of those who joined us in our studios to sample these adult beverages. We met so many awesome people and look forward to our guests in 2024. We also would like to thank Ben E. Keith Beverages for their continued partnership and support.
