Get Christmas Gifts Early at Wylie Market Days & Save Big
With Christmas now less than 12 weeks away, there’s no better time to get a jump on one-of-a-kind gifts than at the next Wylie Christian Church Market Days. The fall edition happens on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Wylie Christian Church, 6250 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene. Admission is completely free.

A Market That Changes Lives in West Texas
Market Days isn’t just a fun community shopping event, it’s also a fundraiser with real impact. Proceeds support the church’s youth ministry and help young adults aging out of foster care programs across West Texas. When you shop and buy something there, you’re helping kids and teens find stability, mentoring, and hope.
Handmade Treasures and Great Finds
Vendors range from local makers, offering jewelry, paintings, clothing, holiday décor, and handmade crafts, to folks clearing out treasures in yard-sale style booths. Think of it as a mash-up of an arts-and-crafts fair, a flea market, and a neighborhood garage sale all rolled into one.
Tasty Treats and Community Spirit
You can count on a bake sale table with homemade goodies (one of my personal weaknesses). Over the years, I’ve found some of my favorite keepsakes at events like this, including the “Guitar Purse” I still carry when I’m out broadcasting live.
Reserve a Vendor Spot While You Can
Organizers say there are still a few booth spaces left for anyone wanting to sell handmade goods or secondhand finds. For more details or to claim a spot, contact Pastor Roni Stanton at (325) 691-0400. Donations are also being accepted at the church.
Why I Love Supporting Wylie Christian Church
This church is close to my heart. It’s where I’ve been blessed to cook and serve Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for anyone who doesn’t have a place to celebrate for over a decade. Market Days is another example of how Wylie Christian Church brings the community together to love and serve others.
