PHOTO GALLERY: Know The Wonderful Flavors of Blue Bell and Enjoy

Some people wait for pumpkin spice to signal the beginning of fall. Me? Apparently, I was waiting for Blue Bell to turn one of my favorite coffee drinks into ice cream.

Hallelujah, thank you, Blue Bell.

I have become a huge fan of bottled White Chocolate Mocha coffee. I pick mine up at United Supermarkets or Market Street, and I've actually had to limit myself to one a day. I don't gulp it down, either. I make that bottle last for more than an hour because I want to enjoy every drop.

Then my friend Jerry Don Black sent me a message with news I probably didn't need to hear: Blue Bell now makes White Chocolate Mocha Ice Cream. To which I immediately responded by saying, "Hallelujah, thank you, God!"

Blue Bell Turns Coffee Into Dessert

According to Blue Bell Creameries, the Brenham, Texas, company released its new White Chocolate Mocha Ice Cream on September 10.

It is a coffee-flavored ice cream with white chocolate-flavored flakes and a vanilla-flavored whipped cream swirl. Blue Bell says the new flavor is available in both pints and half gallons for a limited time.

That's basically somebody taking my afternoon coffee and turning it into dessert.

And yes, I'm already wondering whether I can talk my wife Donna into trying it. She's not much for cold coffee, but put those same flavors into a bowl of Blue Bell and I think I've got a fighting chance.

Another Blue Bell Favorite Is Back

There's more good news in the freezer aisle.

Blue Bell has also brought back Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream, made with cheesecake ice cream, cheesecake pieces, strawberries, and strawberry sundae sauce. The returning flavor is available in half gallons while supplies last.

Is This Blue Bell's Last New Flavor of 2026?

I reached out to my friend Faron Bell with Blue Bell Creameries, and he told me White Chocolate Mocha is expected to be the company's final new flavor of the year 2026.

But that's not the end of the good news.

Faron says Blue Bell's holiday flavors will be coming before the holidays, which means Texans still have more seasonal favorites to look forward to as we move toward Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Blue Bell has offered holiday flavors in previous years, but until the company officially announces the 2026 lineup, I'm not going to guess which ones will return.

That gives me enough time to concentrate on the important matter at hand.

I haven't even bought my first White Chocolate Mocha half gallon yet, and I'm already planning room in the freezer.

All I know is this: between my ice-cold White Chocolate Mocha coffee and a bowl of Blue Bell White Chocolate Mocha Ice Cream, this Texas fall is already looking pretty darn good.
