Prayers have been answered, professional baseball is officially on.

The Major League Baseball Players Association announced Tuesday that this year there will be a 60-game season. Which of course is shortened due to COVID-19.

Training for the season is expected to start July 1.

While the actual season is set to begin July 23 or 24.

Many people are very concerned with the season happening right now. Many players actually have COVID-19.

So with a shortened season, most of the games will be inter divisional games, with some regional play.

For instance, a team from the American League west, will play teams from the National League West division.

The unfortunate news about the season however, it is expected that the games will be played to empty stadiums.

But I honestly don't care about that. I'm just excited.
