Here in San Angelo we are fortunate to have a number of great Med Spas that have been in business for over ten years and more coming on all the time. The three that have been in business longest include Prestige Med Spa, Waterford Wellness Spa and Optimal Wellness and Laser solutions.

Med Spas offer aesthetic services like laser hair removal, lip fillers and medical grade skin therapies.    The three most popular procedures at med spas all involve medically supervised injections  They include:

1) Neuromodulators: These are used to soften facial muscle activity.  In doing so, they reduce wrinkles. Botox is one of the most utilized treatments.

2) Hyaluronic acid fillers: These include acid fillers, and temprary skin fillers like Juvederm.

3) Microneedling These are used to help with skin tightening and the removal of acne scares.

Another fast growing facet of the Med Spa business is Cool Sculpting.  Cool Sculpting or cryolipolysis is a cosmetic treatment that removes excess fat in stubborn areas by freezing fat cells, killing and breaking them down in the process.

Another Med Spa service growing in popularity is IV Nutrition.  It can be a great way to get vitamins and fluids.  Some med spas even have an IV recovery treatment for hangovers.
