The Trailer For Christopher Nolan’s New Movie Is Playing Before ‘Hobbs & Shaw’
According to reports online, the trailer for Christopher Nolan’s mysterious new film Tenet just premiered in front of screenings of Hobbs & Shaw. The trailer has yet to appear online.
According to Variety, here’s what it looks like:
A 40-second teaser screened ahead of preview showings of Hobbs & Shaw, sources tell Variety. The trailer has not yet hit the web, and it’s currently unclear when it will. According to social media reports, the teaser only shows star John David Washington, along with the tagline ‘It’s time for a new protagonist.’
You should note that the trailer is not playing in every theater before Hobbs & Shaw. I was able to confirm that the trailer is playing in front of the film at Regal Cinemas — so if you are dying to see the new Tenet trailer on the big screen and you live near a Regal, that might be the safest bet. (If I can confirm any other theaters, I will update this post.)
Tenet opens in theaters on July 17, 2020. The plot of the movie is unknown, but the film stars John David Washington, Robert Pattison, Elizabeth Debicki, Kenneth Branagh, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Michael Caine. As for the placement of this thing in front of Hobbs & Shaw ... uh, maybe Christopher Nolan is a huge Fast & Furious fan? Has anyone ever heard him say something like “Ride or die”?
