Dwight Yoakam will take fans on a journey through this history of California country music and the Bakersfield sound in his just-announced Las Vegas residency, An Evening With Dwight Yoakam and the Bakersfield Beat. The residency kicks off on Dec. 4, and will consist of six shows spanning through mid-December, with an additional three-night return in March of 2020.

Audiences can expect to tour the evolution of California's most impactful contributions to the country music genre, helmed by one of its best-loved musical pioneers. From its Dust Bowl beginnings to its present-day iteration, Yoakam will hit all the highlights of the Bakersfield style, as well as delivering plenty of his own signature hits. The show's focus on this particular style of music is inspired largely by Yoakam's SiriusXM channel, Dwight Yoakam & the Bakersfield Beat, which features highlights from Yoakam's own career as well as personally curated contributions from his most impactful peers within California country, such as Buck Owens, Merle Haggard and more.

Yoakam's residency shows will take place at Wynn Las Vegas at the Encore Theater, on Dec. 4, 6-7, 10, 12 and 14. March 2020 dates will take place on March 4 and 6-7. The showcase will mark the iconic performer's Wynn Las Vegas debut.

Tickets for the residency dates will go on sale on Friday (Aug. 23) at 10AM PT, with price points starting at $59.50 plus applicable fees. For more information, visit WynnLasVegas.com or call the Wynn Las Vegas Box Office at (702) 770-9966.
