Country singer Chuck Wicks will soon be Jason Aldean's brother-in-law. Wicks proposed to Aldean's younger sister, Kasi Williams, on Thursday night (March 7), and she said yes.

Wicks and Williams announced their engagement on Instagram on Friday (March 8), sharing video of the special moment, which took place at the Fairmont Chateau in Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. "We could hear a pin drop in that woods. Nothing but us and the snow falling. It was absolutely perfect," Wicks writes.

"I’ve waited forever for you and now I will forever be yours," Wicks continues. Adds Williams, "My person — my FOREVER. You make me so happy beyond my wildest dreams @chuckwicks 💫❤️ I love you!"

According to Taste of Country, Wicks and Williams first hinted at their relationship in June of 2018, when Aldean's wife Brittany posted a photo of the two. In August, Wicks revealed that he was planning to bring Kasi to Delaware to meet his family.

Aldean and Wicks once leased land for hunting together, and the country superstar has been in support of the relationship from the start: "I was like, 'I'll be honest, there's a lot of people in Nashville I would be completely against you dating, but I don't have anything bad to say about Chuck,'" he recalls telling his sister. He called Wicks shortly after the couple's first date to share his approval as well.

Previously, Wicks -- who found fame with his debut single, 2007's "Stealing Cinderella," and is currently a syndicated radio show host -- dated Julianne Hough, in 2009, and was linked to personal trainer Brittany Farrar in 2017. Williams, meanwhile, according to Fox News, was previously married to a man named Bill Morstad.
