The City of San Angelo and the Small Business Development Center are hosting seminars on Thursday, September 10th.

Lunch & Learn on bidding with/selling to the City:

This free seminar will be from Noon until 1 at the East Reception Room on the Mezzanine of City Hall.

Purchasing Manager Roger Banks will talk about bidding with and selling to the City of San Angelo during this luncheon seminar, which is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to bring brown-bag lunches with them.

The Lunch and Learn series seeks to provide information about specific City services and regulations to targeted industry professionals.

The Angelo State University Small Business Development Center will be hosting the training event “Ready... Set... Go...Essentials to Business Startup” Thursday, September 10th at 6:00p.m. Admission is free.

Ready to turn that business idea into a reality? Join the ASU-SBDC professional staff as they present a comprehensive, basics of starting a new business seminar for entrepreneurs and new business owners.

They will help answer your basic business startup questions and share resources that will help you along the way. At this NO-FEE seminar, you will learn the basics of writing a business plan, how to estimate start-up costs, contacts and resources you will need, and more. You will receive an "Essentials of Starting a New Business" Workbook, "Starting a Business in San Angelo" guide, and a business plan summary to help you begin.
