Can You Tell Us What Color This Dress Is Because We Can’t Be Sure

guys please help me - is this dress white and gold, or blue and black? Me and my friends can’t agree and we are freaking out

I know this is a strange question, but can you tell what color this dress is? I know, I know, it's a bit strange, but hear me out. I'm sitting here at home, and this pops up on my feed  a day or so ago. First, I read comments and think, 'This is dumb. The color is obvious.' So, I read it again. Black and blue or white and gold?

Well, duh. It's white and gold. I mean, look at this picture above. It's a while dress with gold lace. However, on the internet the debate rages: black and blue or white and gold.

When in doubt, ask. So, as I'm sitting on my couch twisting my phone this way and that, I show my boyfriend and ask, 'What color is this dress?' Answer: black and blue. Whoa.

This guy could care less about fashion, and he hardly ever looks as 'the book', so he had no idea what I was talking about when I showed him the picture. After a brief moment of trying to figure this out, I simply want to know one thing because I have no idea what to think.
