
Burglary Suspect Arrested
A San Angelo man is behind bars Tuesday for burglarizing a vehicle thanks to a citizen who witnessed the crime.At approximately 5:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, San Angelo Police responded to a burglary call at the Express Donuts located in the 2200 block of Sherwood Way.
Officers arrived and spoke with the victim who had items taken from his vehicle, and a witness who saw the suspect taking items from the vehicle. The witness was able to give an accurate description of the suspect as well as a direction of travel. Officers were able to locate the suspect in the 2000 block of San Antonio.
After further investigation, Officers arrested Drew Harding without incident for the burglary. A search of Hardy’s person (front pants pocket) revealed items taken from the victim’s wallet.
Harding was transported to the Tom Green County Jail and charged with Burglary of a Vehicle.
