Attention San Angelo Children of the Corn…The Maze is Back
There has been a lot more than just pumpkin spice in the Fall air in San Angelo. There's been a great deal of anticipation in the air also. At last, some of that anticipation is over. The Circle S Corn Maze and Pumpkin patch has just revealed their 2022 maze design. I get lost just looking at the photos. This year it is Noah's Ark.
The Circle S Corn maze is utterly four acres of befuddlement. I guess that's a word since the spell check didn't give me any red squiggly lines. You can find it North of Spring Creak at 7305 Bean Road.
While corn mazes have popped up in almost every major Texas city, our San Angelo corn maze is really special. The best part, opening day is not that far away. It is coming up on September 30th. To get ready, I'm gathering bread crumbs in case I get lost, and I always get lost.
I wish I could offer wisdom on the best way to navigate a corn maze. All I can offer is a recommendation that you bring your friends and family and have a good time. The great thing about Circle S Acres is fun is reasonably prices. Admission for the corn maze is just $8 for adults and $5 for children.
Besides the corn maze, there is a pumpkin patch with the best variety of pumpkins you've ever seen. There are no ordinary pumpkins in this pumpkin patch. All of the over 30 varieties of pumpkin found there are grown in Floydada, Texas the "Pumpkin Capital of the USA". Some of the varieties include the Choga Choga.
Cinderella and Crystal Star and of course my favorite Big Mac. These pumpkins get over 100 pounds.
Look out Charlie Brown, I think that's one "Great Pumpkin"
You can also enjoy Fall Flowers in their "You Pick Flower Patch" This is a great photo opp for the family and is only available on Saturday and Sunday while supplies last.
Halloween and Fall fun is abundant here in San Angelo. The weather is still great and, with The Circle S Corn Maze nearby, Fall fun is right on our doorstep.
