WTU Retail Energy and the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank have partnered again to help fight childhood hunger throughout the community via the Summer Bag program, which provides bags filled with nutritious, easy-to-open food to send home with children on weekends throughout summer.
The initiative helped feed about 300 children last summer with about 5,000 snacks.

“We are most grateful that WTU Retail Energy helps us reach the smallest and most important in our community,” said Gregory Duke, Executive Director of the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank. “This year, about 300 children will benefit from WTU’s contributions.”

The summer bag program is one of the many initiatives focused on giving back to the communities in which WTU Retail Energy operates

“WTU is happy to be able to play a part in feeding the brightest members of the community,” said Jayesh Shah, Commercial Manager for WTU Retail Energy. “We support the San Angelo community and are proud of our efforts to combat child hunger."
