WTU Helps Hungry Kids
WTU Retail Energy will be launching the "Food First" Summer Bag Program with the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank this Friday.
This "first of it's kind" Summer Program provides biodegradeable plastic bags for non profit organizations to fill with easy to open food to send home with children on the weekends. WTU joins
with the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank to fight childhood hunger.
"Children should enjoy their summer vacation without the worry of where there next meal will come from," said Maria Rodriquez, WTU Retail Energy Brand Manager. "Families across Texas are struggling to put food on the table. The Food First Program fills the gap where hunger exists."
