‘Wellness In The Workplace’ Seminar Will Be Thursday – Register Now

The Angelo State University Small Business Development Center (ASU-SBDC) is hosting the training event “Wellness in the Workplace Leads to Better Business” this Thursday at 6:00 p.m. for $15.00.

The purpose of this event is to enhance the knowledge of the participants in the areas of employee wellness and health promotion programs. This presentation will include evidence-based strategies and best practices that can be integrated into the workplace. The objectives for this event include:

• The culture shift to wellness
• Presenteeism vs. absenteeism
• Opportunities for intervention
• Leadership commitment
• Effective engagement and implementation
• Smoke-free policies

Each of these areas will offer information that discusses the impact on performance and bottom line for employers. You can learn strategies to start and sustain a health promotion program for any level of business or employer.
