Don’t forget to wear pink Tuesday !  In case you haven’t heard, Texans are joining together to wear pink on November 20, 2012.
Historically, Pink Out events are hosted in October to honor the fight against breast cancer, but our friends at the Texas Peace Project are asking us to use pink for a different purpose this year.
Texas Pink Out is a day that brings awareness to issues related to gender stereotypes and homophobia. The “Pink is just a color” campaign asks us, as a community, to look at the root causes of bullying and violence.
To participate, all you have to do is wear or display something pink on Nov. 20th.  We also ask you to engage in critical conversations with your peers about the harm that gender stereotypes and homophobia create.

Take pictures and post them to the Concho Valley Rape Crisis Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CVRapeCrisis.
