Not all country wax figures are created equal. While casts of Johnny Cash and Billy Ray Cyrus capture the focused dispositions of each singer, recreations of a few female artists look like little more than large Barbie dolls.

In the past decade, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood have attended the unveiling of their wax figures at Madame Tussauds in New York City. Other country stars have been enshrined there, and a few more have been posted at lesser known wax museums. It's these figures that elicit eyebrow raising. Who let the intern carve up LeAnn Rimes?

More recently, Reba McEntire and Luke Bryan have come face to face with their wax selves. Bryan recently mugged with his at Madame Tussauds. He joked around during a 90-second video released to YouTube, saying, “Look at me! It’s crazy. Well, I want to take me in a little longer!”

McEntire's came during soundcheck before a show at her Las Vegas residency. “I tried to find differences between me and the figure and there weren’t any,” McEntire says in a press release. “I’m really blown away with how great it looks, it’s like looking in a mirror.”

In April, Nashville is getting its own Madame Tussauds exhibit. During the fall of 2016, the museum Nashville hosted a social media contest where fans nominated the artists they would most like to see take the stage at the attraction. McEntire was voted the winner.
