A Trashion Fashion Show and multiple recycling events are coming beginning on April 16th.

You can celebrate "Earth Day" with the 1st "Trashion Fashion" Show on Thursday, April 21st!

You're invited to find creative uses for items diverted from the waste stream by visiting samfa.org or sanangelorecycling.org and printing off a template to enter your own Trashion Fashion design.

The top 10 designs will be featured at the fashion show at 7:30 on the 21st during the Art Stroll. Before the fashion show, you can create your one of a kind "wearable waste" accessories beginning at 6:30 at the Museum of Fine Arts.

Free snacks will be available as well as free admission to the museum's galleries.

The SAFE Recycling Center will have several opportunities to help you with "Spring Cleaning"!

The Electronics Recycling Drive will begin on Tuesday, April 19th and continue through Saturday, April 23rd. You can bring your old computers, monitors, TVs, printers, fax machines, copiers, microwaves, VCRs, DVD Players, stereos, smart phones, tablets, and any cords that go with them.

You can bring all your brush, and lawn clippings to the center, 702 Warehouse Road, and get it mulched for free from April 18-23rd.

Do you have large appliances that you need to get rid of? Friday & Saturday, April 22nd & 23rd, you can drop off those appliances for no charge! Load up those refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, freezers, air conditioners and dishwashers and bring them either day.

If you have lots of documents that you need to have shredded, Saturday, April 23rd, from 9-Noon, you can bring up to 6 legal sized boxes to get shredded by Secure Document Shredding. Expect a long wait time for this free service.
