Help United Blood Services in San Angelo by Celebrating ‘National Donate Blood Day’ Thursday

What a great way  to celebrate this occasion by giving the gift of life, your blood.  I checked with United Blood Services here in San Angelo and found at the moment they have a shortage of type O-negative blood.

Volunteer donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.  Donors 16 years of age must provide a minor donor permit, which can be found at the website.  The permit needs to be signed by a parent or guardian.  Donors age 16-22 must also meet height and weight requirements.
