Every June 20th is the "Lady In Blue Day" for San Angelo and the entire Catholic Diocese of San Angelo, which encompasses 29 West Texas Counties.
The Lady in Blue, who supposedly was a cloistered Franciscan Sister in Agreda, Spain, had the gift of bi-location, and had a great influence on the bringing of Christianity to this area in the early 1600s. Several books have been written on this special phenomenon that continues to generate interest.

Bishop Pfeifer will offer a Special Mass near the Concho River, behind the Christ The King
Retreat Center, at 9:30 on Thursday, June 20th. Everyone is welcome to attend. Call 651-7500 for more details.
