Taylor Swift is adding to her already-ballooning magazine cover portfolio with a nod on the December/January issue of Harper's Bazaar. It's a essentially a head shot of Swift and her ever-present bangs, and she looks both natural and lovely. The Bazaar cover has a 1970s energy to it, as her hair blows across her shiny, nude-painted lips.

In the feature, the 'Begin Again' singer talks about having to constantly shop for new dresses -- not because she is a clotheshorse, but because the fashion magazines will point out when she does a repeat!

"I’m in a predicament where I can’t wear a dress twice or else it’s pointed out in magazines," Swift explains. "So unfortunately I have to shop for dresses all the time."

We can think of worse things to have to shop for, like dishwashers or brooms. Even though Swift is 'forced' to spend more time browsing racks for new clothes than she'd like, she does prefer a dress since "there's just something so feminine" about them.

She continues, "Whether it’s a summertime dress that makes me feel carefree, an evening cocktail dress that makes me feel fancy or a vintage dress that makes me feel like a ’50s housewife -- which I enjoy feeling like, for some reason -- I just really like dresses."

Swift also shared her favorite celeb frock, which is a powder pink confection than an actress wore to the Oscars. "I was 15 and going to prom for the first time, and I saw that picture of Gwyneth [Paltrow] in the pink [Ralph Lauren Oscar] gown," Swift reveals. "I went all over the mall and showed it to all the store owners and said, ‘Do you have anything that looks like this?’ And no one did."

Now, as one of the top-selling artists on the planet, if Swift wants a dress, she can pretty much command a designer to make one for her from scratch.

The Taylor Swift issue of Harper's Bazaar lands on newsstands Nov. 27.
