Senior Citizens

Help a senior citizen in west Texas by donating gifts and spreading some holiday spirit.

The Friends of the San Angelo State Park and the San Angelo State Park employees will host the Silver Bluebonnet Day at the South Gate Chaparral Pavilion on FM 2288, this Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 9 AM to 1 PM for senior citizens. This yearly event is a free day to give our seniors an opportunity to come out to the State Park to relax and learn about our 8,000 acre park...

It's Silver Bluebonnet Day from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. hosted by the Friends of the San Angelo State Park and San Angelo State Park employees.

The AARP Tax-Aide services will be held at the Adult Literacy Council, 59 East Sixth Street, in San Angelo, starting February 7th from 10:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

The class will run from 12:30 until 5:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3536 YMCA Drive, in San Angelo.

The monthly meeting of The Silver Stars will be at 10:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall of Glen Meadows Baptist Church, 6002 Knickerbocker Road,in San Angelo.

The class will run from 12:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3536 YMCA Drive, in San Angelo.

The AARP driver safety class runs from 12:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3536 YMCA Drive, in San Angelo. This class is geared for seniors 50 and older. AARP membership is not required. Cost is $12.00 for AARP members and $14...
