San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo

According to the US Copyright Office, no one owns the copyright on the slogan: "Cowboy Capital of the World." In fact, Bandera isn't even the only city that uses that phrase. Their emblem is service marked with that phrase on it, but as far as our research could find, the slogan itself is fair game.

The Angelo State University Agriculture Department’s student Wool Judging Team took first place and had two individuals place in the top 10 at the 2017 San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Collegiate Wool Judging Contest on Feb. 11 in San Antonio.

It was cold, but barbeque pits and big fires keep the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Barbeque Championship Teams warm!

Tryouts for the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Ambassadors will be on Sunday, Nov. 6th, at the 1st Community Federal Credit Union Spur Arena.

47 Cooking Teams are set up on the rodeo midway to see who can cook the best Jalapeno Poppers, Chicken, Ribs, and Brisket!
