Angelo State University will host the second annual Superhero Dash 5k race and 1.5-mile fun run this Saturday, Feb. 22, on the ASU campus.
Both the race and the fun run will begin at 9 a.m. at the start/finish line in front of ASU’s Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive.  Participants are invited to dress in their favorite superhero or crime fighter costume for the event.

Participants of all ages are invited to take part in the race and fun run.  Registration fee is $15 in advance or $20 at the event.  Children under 12 can participate for free.  All proceeds will go to benefit Concho Valley AMBUCS in its fundraising efforts for therapeutic tricycles.  Advance registration is available online at https://secure.getmeregistered.com/get_information.php?event_id=10204.  Walkers are also welcome.

The Superhero Dash is sponsored by the Angelo State Physical Therapy Association (ASPTA) student group and the ASUFit campus wellness program, as well as several local businesses and civic organizations.

Concho Valley AMBUCS is the local division of National AMBUCS Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities.  More information is available online at www.ambucs.org/.
