This is the best story I've heard in years and it has the added advantage of being true!

6A football in Texas high school football is no joke.  Actually, ANY high school football in Texas is no joke.

When it became decision time for Eric Wells, all he needed to be was Claire-voyant.

As it turned out, that proved to be a no-brainer for the Eagle head coach.

Claire Jeffress, Dawson High's senior kicker...(and yes I said Claire)...who earned homecoming queen honors last week, drilled the game winning 30 yard field goal with a minute left in the game this past Friday night as Dawson's Eagles beat Pearland.

Said the Eagles Coach:  "Homecoming queen knocks it through, Dawson wins. You have to love that."
